AURORA-100 Series
3 to 9 Person Submersibles
Ultra-large cabin with Exceptional View
A Superb Ultra Large Acrylic Window
Aurora-100 Series are submersibles in the 9,950 kg to 11,500 Kg weight category with an ultra-large cabin that offers either a spacious 5 to 9 person multi-seating interior or extra deep diving capability to 2300m for 3 occupants.
The Aurora-100 Series features an ultra-large acrylic cabin that can be configured either for spacious seating or for extra deep diving. These subs, as with all SEAmagine’s submersibles, offer powerful propulsion, have a great boarding arrangement, robust construction, unmatched reliability, and can be equipped with a wide arrays of cameras, robotic arms, and scientific tools.
The Aurora-100 Series
The Aurora-100 series are submersibles that feature an ultra-large spherical window with a rear metal hull section that together form these subs’ spacious cabin interior that can hold 3 to 9 people depending on the selected depth rating. The Aurora-100 submarines offer an optimal launch weight of around 10 tons for diving depth ranges from 200m to 1000m but are heavier for deeper depths beyond that up to 2300m. The deep diving capability of this submersible series is ideal for a 3 person crew to perform deep scientific work as the subs can be equipped with a wide range of subsea tools from cameras, robotic manipulator arms, sonars, imaging tools and more.
For diving depth of 1000m or less the Aurora-100 subs are sensational for leisure or tourism, hosting 4 to 8 passengers in addition to the pilot. The Aurora submersibles have a rear hull section that provide important additional space to the window’s interior and thereby by provide more room for people and equipment. The sub’s bubble has no hatch on top of its dome and there are no large front pontoons structures obstructing the peripheral views. All these points provide the occupants a far better overall underwater view as well as real up close viewing ability. With four vectored propulsion thrusters on each corner plus two vertical thrusters, the Aurora subs maneuver in all directions much like drone.
Our thrusters are capable of providing practically the same amount thrust force in both forward or reverse flow directions giving the vessels this excellent agility with strength. This important characteristic allows pilots to safely drive up close to reefs, walls, seamounts, or structures for exceptionally close viewing. The Aurora submersible boarding arrangement for passengers is superior to all other submarine concepts. The top deck, made of synthetic teak, offers an excellent boarding platform supported by two retractable hand rails on each side. A staircase leads passengers to the large entry hatch and two additional steps in the cabin extend the upper staircase all the way inside to the cabin floor.
